So I am going to try to do some compilations of my life via photos, whether they are from my phone or my camera. I think this is the best way to get a perspective on my ‘not so normal’ life! Welcome to a Bird’s Eye View! :)
This is how my eventful couple of days ended – with me looking homeless at a program! Gotta love it! But by this day I was so flipping tired …
I have been into organization lately – I am not a super organized person by ANY MEANS, but I love to make sure that everything has a place. Right now, my apartment is super organized and clean – we will see how long that lasts! :)
But in the mean time, here are some tips and tricks that I have picked up along the way!
Organization and reorganization can definitely cost money. I always look to buy things on clearance or on sale to help me become more organized. I also have to think about what I have and what I can actually use. Organization products only work if you put them to use effectively.
I had purchased some mason jars awhile back for my juices. I haven’t gotten to juicing yet, but I have been able to use some of the jars for my cosmetics. Doing this allows me to categorized certain things, like lip balms together, lip glosses together, mascaras together.
I miss my garment rack, but I don’t really need to resurrect it. Ugh, it’s so sad. It definitely came in handy when I was planning my outfits for the week. Yes, I plan for the week, including work out clothes. I am so flipping insane, I know. But I have realized that I can do this without the garment rack. I will probably get me some 3M adhesive hooks and hang them behind my door … maybe. :)
How do you organize? I have done some organization posts here, here, and here. Feel free to check them out! :)
As you probably know, I am not shy when it comes to color. The more the merrier, if you ask me! :) Colors can trigger memories and thoughts and emotions. For me, red reminds me of the time I got 95% red Starbursts in an assorted package. I can’t eat red candies to this day!
Color coding is something that has definitely made scholastic tasks so much easier and fun! I have done color coding on the “macro” with my notebooks and pens, but I never thought about doing it on the “micro” level with highlighting things I read in articles!! When I highlight with one color, it’s hard for me to determine why I highlighted the statement or phrase in the first place!! Well, no more!
I organized my sister’s room and closet a couple of weeks ago. During that same day, I did my niece’s room as well! What I love about her room is that this room displays baby feminity without painting the walls pink. I absolutely love the pink accents and furniture. You know you are entering a little girls room without Barbie pink EVERYWHERE!
