So I am going to try to do some compilations of my life via photos, whether they are from my phone or my camera. I think this is the best way to get a perspective on my ‘not so normal’ life! Welcome to a Bird’s Eye View! 🙂

I am a planner.  It is what I do.  Religiously.  However, there are some things you cannot plan.  One of those things was the death of a family member. So, it literally consumed my everything for the past couple of days.  Now that everything is over, I feel like I am in an emotional hangover.  I didn’t realize how much this would take out of me, even when I tried to prepare for it.

My cousin on his phone – as usual.  I spent a lot of time with him and my family.  It was hard, but it was good to know that we could call on family members for support.

While looking for pictures for my uncle’s obituary, we found this picture of my cousin and me.  You can tell we were thick as thieves even then.

Even though we were saying good bye to a loved one, it was great to see people I haven’t seen in ions!  It shouldn’t take a passing of a loved one to get together.  We should celebrate each other – while we are here!
