This weekend was super exciting!  There was a lot going on and I have to say that even though I may have had to work, I was still able to spend it with my loved ones!

I went to the grocery store – if you know me, you know how big of a feat that is!  I actually got some supplies that I probably used later on this weekend – stay tuned to the post!

My buddy YJ came over to spend the night and have a girls night!  Let’s just say that was EXTREMELY eventful – but she’s my girl and she never disappoints!  We tried to make donuts; I got them in my PopSugar must have box … let’s just say, they turned out like pancakes.  We forgot a donut pan.  lol

We proceed to have fun at Great Lakes Crossing – which is an awesome outlet mall in Michigan.  I got some earrings from BCBG, my first BCBG purchase in fact.  I also went bananas in Victoria’s Secret – lotions and spray goods for 3-4 bucks, can’t pass it up!

We were on a hunt for a black clutch for YJ, but we came up empty handed – well, just her.  My hands were full …

Later on, I had to use this because part of my hometown’s power went out.  I will share a video about that!  It’s rather hilarious!

That was my weekend in a nutshell – now I am getting ready for the 2nd Inauguration of Barack Obama! How was yours?
