So my boyfriend got us tickets to see one of my favorite bands, Coldplay, for my birthday!!  I am super stoked about seeing them in concert!  So to celebrate, here are my top 5 Coldplay songs!

5. Princess of China

This video reminds me of an old Bruce Lee movie.  It is very creative; I like it.  Coldplay working on trying to get a little more commercial and mainstream – Rihanna is a nice touch.  :)

4. Viva La Vida

I heard this song just before I graduated from MSU and I fell in love with it. It was featured in an Apple commercial and I lost my mind. I was like I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THIS SONG IS! I can get quite obsessive over certain songs. I listen it to it when I practice yoga in my apartment … really, I do.

3. Charlie Brown

I just love the musicality of this song.  I am not quite sure what’s it about, but I love it though!!

2. Homecoming

I know this is not 100% Coldplay video, but I love this song!!! It’s amazing! You can see similarities to this video and Jay Z’s 99 Problems and New York. This began his relationship with the Roc. I feel without this song, we wouldn’t have Princess of China.

1. Lost

Now everyone knows that I love Jay Z … this marriage of alternative and hip hop is something unparalleled.
